This event is in the past.
eBorneo Knowledge Fair is a bi-annual un-conference held in the central Borneo highlands of Sarawak, Malaysia. It showcases the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for development in isolated rural communities, especially those that consist of indigenous peoples. eBKF is organised by the Institute of Social Informatics and Technological Innovations at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (ISITI) and it is not a conventional academic conference in which academics talk only to themselves. ISITI's research is intended to change people's lives for the better through influencing communities, NGOs, development professionals, government officials, and policy makers. eBKF is forum for engagement between all participants for mutual learning.
