Epsilon Upsilon Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated
The EU chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. was started on April 28th, 2002 by Nicholas Lafreniere and Edwin Lamothe. Over the next three years the colony grew,and in 2005 the colony became the Epsilon Upsilon Chapter. Currently Today there are 22 members in the Epsilon Upsilon chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. The chapter is still growing and looking for new people interested in holding up this great tradition.
Nationally Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. was founded September 19th, 1963 at Morgan State College by 12 men. They founded the nations 5th largest predominately African American social service Fraternity. Many of these men were highly active in the civil rights movement. Today there are over 250 chapters all over the world. Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. is still growing and still holding onto the traditions and values that our founding fathers gave to us.

On June 3rd from 10-1 At Mlk Elementary school located at 35 Camp Street Providence,RI. The brothers of the Epsilon Upsilon Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. will be helping the school do some work to their community garden. The brothers will be helping spread mulch, and do various garden work.

on March 10th from 12:30-3 the Brothers & Sweethearts of the Epsilon Upsilon chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc will be taking part in the Mount Hope Learning Center Cleanup Day. Many community activites and learning programs take place here so the Eu chapter will be helping keeping this place a safe environment for people to enjoy. Pictures will be posted later in teh day.
