The Invariant Society was founded in 1936 to 'promote interest in all branches of Mathematics'. We do this by arranging regular talks on maths and related topics for our members, which aim to entertain, elucidate and broaden everyone's perspective on mathematics. We also organize a few social events, which everybody with an interest in Mathematics is invited to attend, details to be found on the termcard; we also publish a magazine, the 'Invariant'.
