14th Social Investment Breakfast Club Zurich: Sustainable Investing Capabilities of Private Banks - banks talk the talk, but who walks the walk?
Tuesday, 27th November 2018 at 9am - 11am
Location:Globalance Bank, Gartenstrasse 16, 8002 Zürich
This event is in the past.
Increasingly more private banks are offering sustainable investment options to wealthy clients. How do these products differ from one another? And do the banks' advisory services meet the expectations of investors? A study by the University of Zurich into the products and services of the 15 leading European private banks shows that most still have room for improvement.
The Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) at the University of Zurich has assessed 15 private banks, including large players such as UBS, Credit Suisse, and BNP Paribas, in terms of their sustainable investing vision, offering, and services.
Join us for the 14th Impact for breakfast event in Zurich to learn about the first study that looks into private banks through a sustainable investing lens and results in some interesting findings. Taeun Kwon, the lead author of the report, will share some key findings, the challenges that the industry faces, and the center’s initiative to address these challenges. About the venue Globalance Bank will be our host for this session. A map and more details about the Globalance Bank can be found here.
About the speaker Taeun Kwon is the Head of Wealth Management Programs at the CSP, where she oversees industry research such as the “Sustainable Investing Capabilities of Private Banks,” and is in charge of diffusing that knowledge through executive education programs and workshops.
