E-mail newsletter sent by Daisy Hooper, Tuesday 18th May 2010 @ 10:09am A talk by Patricia Parker, hosted by Hands up for Darfur.
Thursday of fourth week at 7:30 pm in the Saskatchewan room, Exeter college.
Were you shocked by the conflict in Darfur? Have you ever wondered what happened after the international media moved on? Do you want to find out about the new crisis that is threatening the region?
If so, Patricia Parker is the ideal person to answer your questions. Patricia runs a charity, Kids for Kids, which works in some of the poorest villages in Darfur. Kids for Kids was one of the few charities to stay in the region during the genocide, and Patricia’s experiences have given her an intimate knowledge of the situation there. She will be speaking about the latest challenges that are facing the region. E-mail newsletter sent by Louise, Sunday 28th February 2010 @ 12:46pm 2 Great events for you.....

Hopefully see you there! E-mail newsletter sent by Louise, Wednesday 28th October 2009 @ 9:13am Hi everyone,
This week we'll be holding an open committee meeting for all those who might be interested in being involved.
MEETING - Thursday 3rd week (THIS THURSDAY), 6pm, St Anne's College
(48 Woodstock, seminar room 3 - get directions from the lodge)
We'll tell you a lot more about who we are, what we do, and our BIG PLANS for this year, and give you a chance to meet the existing committee and ask us any questions.
Mainly, we'll be discussing the plans for our big fundrasing event this year - a massive 10km run, with loads of activities, stalls, etc going on around it. Obviously, we're going to need loads of help to make this happen - roles up for grabs from marketing and publicity to logistics, stewarding, sponsorship, etc etc etc. And especially someone to run the WEBSITE!
Hope to see you there - if you can't make it but still want to be involved, let me know - and feel free to email me any questions.
