Film Showing of 'Black Gold' hosted by Green Action and SU Amnesty International

Posted by David McKay, Tuesday 14th October 2008 @ 8:25pm

'Black Gold' reveals the inequalities and destructive nature of the international coffee industry.  With consumers in the west paying as much as several thousand times what the farmer recieves for the same product in the third world, it's no wonder poverty is rife in most of the world.  'Black Gold' investigates the coffee business and uncovers these injustices.  Wake up and smell the coffee!
