A tasty Christmas feast gives us all a chance to have a decent chat with the rest of the members of the most inspiring society at Southampton University!

Arrive: 8pm for a quick drink before food at 8:30pm

Dress: Smart - Black tie if you've got it!

Pay: Nothing until you finish your meal (probably ~£20 for the set menu)

The Set Christmas Menu (£20)

Starters

  • Spiced butternut squash soup, yoghurt, coriander
  • Crispy duck, red onion and beetroot relish, rocket, tangerine, pistachios
  • Seared black spiced salmon, white bean puree, thai salad
  • Crab, potato and crayfish salad, deep fried prawns, tomato vinaigrette

Mains

  • Roast turkey, sausage, bacon and bean cassoulet, cranberries, watercress
  • Daube of beef, olive oil mash, winter greens, roast garlic
  • Pan fried sea bass, crispy potatoes, spinach, curried lentils, salsa
  • Goats cheese croquettes, roasted onions, peppers, black olives, basil

Desserts

  • Sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce, ice cream
  • Vanilla crème brulee, plum compote, shortbread
  • Chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce, chocolate ice cream
  • English cheese, biscuits, crudities
