Seed Money

Seed money instruments are funds for developing and studying a project idea or potential Flagships and preparing application for main project

Policy area Nutri can give support letters for project ideas, if they are in line with the policy area Nutri actions and fulfill the criteria. The policy area coordinators will consider the applications with the policy area steering committee.

Interreg Baltic Sea Region

To develop projects in line with the EUSBSR Action Plan.

Funding:
50 000 EUR
Co-financing rate: 85%
Duration of financing: one year
Area: Eight EU Member States (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, parts of Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden) and three partner countries (Belarus, Norway and North-West of Russia). Specific implementing provisions for the participation of Belarus and Russia have not been finalised.
Requirements for partnership: At least three project partners from three different countries of the Programme area: a lead partner and at least two project partners. Lead partners must be located in the territory of an EU Member State in the Programme area or in Norway.
 

EUSBSR Seed Money Facility (closed)

To develop projects in line with the EUSBSR Action Plan.

Funding:
30 000 - 50 000 EUR, with pre-feasibility studies up to
100 000 EUR
Co-financing rate: 85%
Duration of financing: one year
Area: Baltic Sea region, but partnerships are not limited to the region
Requirements for partnership: At least three partners involved with financial contribution representing three different Baltic Sea Region countries, one is appointed as a lead partner
 

Swedish Institute - Seed money (2016/2017)

To prefinance and develop projects in line with the EUSBSR Action Plan, the EU's Eastern Partnership and/or HELCOM Baltci Sea Action Plan.


Funding: up to 500 000 SEK
Area: Sweden, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus.
Requirements for partnership: Swedish lead beneficiary. A minimum of three partners and three participating countries.

The call closes 1 February 2017.

CBSS - Project Support Facility

To develop projects, used as co-funding, bridging and pre-financing.

Funding: up to 50 000 EUR
Co-financing rate: 90%
Area: Baltic Sea region
Requirements for partnership:
Public or public equivalent body. At least three partners from three CBSS Member States.
