Sustainable manure and nutrient management for reduction of nutrient loss in the Baltic Sea region - SuMaNu
Sustainable manure and nutrient management Project Platform. Its aim is to gather, analyse and synthesize the best practices and recommendations on sustainable nutrient management from the four participating projects: Manure Standards (MS), Baltic Slurry Acidification (BSA), GreenAgri (GA) and PROMISE (PR). Platform on Integrated Water Cooperation - BSR Water
The aim of the Platform is to foster cross-sectoral cooperation and integration in smart water management by providing a possibility for transnational experience exchange, sharing of good practices and solutions, as well as delivering comprehensive overview of the current and future regional policy. The platform cooperation is based on practical achievements and results of seven projects addressing water mamangement challenges: water pollution from households, industry and agriculture; eutrophication, climate change, excessive water and energy use.
The outcomes of the contributing projects support the long-term development of regional environmental policy and recommendations which will further strengthen policy-practice link in implementation of advanced water protection measures, including smart nutrient management and sludge handling, storm water management and energy efficiency cycle at national and municipal levels.
The platform developed The Baltic Smart Water Hub - a multifunctional online portal increasing capacity of WWT operators (www.balticwaterhub.net) where the results of pilot investments are inserted.
