Two projects were selected for Seed Money support from Interreg Baltic Sea Region in the Nutri policy area in the second call:
Climate Resilient Water and Wastewater Management in the BSR (WaterMan Seed)
The objective – to decrease the outflow of nutrients and hazardous substances, including PFAS and microplastic, into groundwater and the Baltic Sea by coastal and upstream activities for example by water management or spatial planning.
Model Nutrients Reduction Solutions In Near-Coast Touristic Areas (NURSECOAST)
The objective – to develop and validate a shared methodology for establishing water quality in coastal waters. The results include: shared methodology for best methods of water quality measurement in coastal regions, the sources of pollutants, optimal application for a number of new technologies and processes under development or already available.
With Seed money support, the projects can be prepared for applying project funding from any funding source available in the region.
