The 8th Annual Forum of the EUSBSR takes place in Berlin on 13 - 14 June 2017.
The Forum gathers all the strategy's main stakeholders together to discuss current issues of the Baltic Sea Region. This year's main theme is connectivity which is present throughout the programme from neighbouring areas to transport, and from environment to digitalization. The organizers expect some 800 participants from all around the Baltic Sea Region to join the two-day event.
The HA Neighbours co-organizes two seminars during the Annual Forum. The first one, "Cooperating with Northwest Russia regions", takes place on Tuesday 13th at 15:15. The seminar is organized together with the INTERREG Baltic Sea Region programme and it focuses on presenting EUSBSR flagship projects which improve transport concepts and a cleaner and safer Baltic Sea.
The second seminar, "Cooperation with Belarus", takes place later on the same day, Tuesday 13th June at 17:00. It addresses the current state of cooperation activities between Baltic Sea Region and Belorussian actors. The seminar is organized in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office.
Many back-to-back events are organized during the Annual Forum week in Berlin. Baltic Development Forum Summit, Participation Day and Baltic Sea Labour Forum Round Table are only a few examples of the week's various meetings. HA Neighbours organizes also it's 4th coordination group meeting on Monday 12th June.
The HA Neighbours organizes a seminar "Perspectives for EU-Russia Cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region" on Wednesday 9th 2016. The seminar will be held during the 7th annual EUSBSR Strategy Forum in Stockholm.
The seminar's keynote speaker is the former Finnish Prime Minister, Mr. Paavo Lipponen.
The seminar is devoted to discussions on potential and perspective areas for cooperation of the currently renewed North Western Russian Strategy 2020 and the EUSBSR, as well as the overall persperctives of EU-Russia cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region.
