During November and December there will be two seminars focused on disseminating information about the EUSBSR, EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.
On 18 November, there will be an opportunity for those interested to receive information on the Strategy. The seminar is both an introduction to all new stakeholders and an update for those who already have some knowledge. Special focus is placed on the embedding of the Strategy in the EU Structural Funds program and the link between strategic development work at national level in the member states and the transnational processes.
Anna Hagström, who is the national coordinator for the Baltic Sea Strategy at the Prime Minister's Office in Sweden, presents the strategy's new action plan. The Swedish Institute introduces the call for project initiation, which opens on 19 November.
On December 7, another digital seminar will be arranged. Then the participants are given the chance to try hands-on to work macro-regionally, i.e. apply the methods used in the development work within the strategy. The seminar can also be an opportunity to find new partners and develop new projects.
If you are interested, you can register for participation via THIS LINK. The organizer is HA Capacity, who works with capacity building among stakeholders in the strategy. Nordic Association shares responsibility for HA Capacity with the Swedish Institute and the Union of the Baltic Cities.
