Our Mission Statement is:
"To ensure the welfare and happiness of all Eliot affiliated Students and represent to Kent Union and the University of Kent, whilst providing responsible social activities."
The Eliot Student Committee (ESC) is made up of students who give up their free time to try and represent and help students.
ESC represent all students who are a member of either Eliot, Becket or Parkwood and are thus affiliated to Eliot. We are here to try and enhance your university experience, we deal with welfare and education issues, take on your concerns and feed them back to higher boards such as Union Council and the University.
Eliot Student Committee officers are voted in by any Eliot affiliated members who attend an election. The President is elected in by every Eliot affiliate in a cross campus ballot every March.
We organise Eliot Charity Panto every year at Christmas which is one of the biggest events of the year on campus, attracting over 300 people and raising hundreds of pounds for charity (this year £550).
