This is a "work group" for comic book and comic strip creators. All types of comics creators (writers, artists, "I do everything myself"ers, etc) and all genres (indy, superhero, gag strips, etc) are welcome.
At our meetings, we show each other other our comics-in-progress for discussion and critique, and also generally discuss the process of creating comics. A lot of us set goals (such as, "at the next meeting I will have X number of pages penciled to show the group") to help us get motivated to get work done.
We meet at "Shared Space," Barry and Jake's studio, which is at 6315 SE Holgate Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. (It's where SE Foster, SE Holgate and SE 63rd intersect, across the street from the Round Table Pizza. Look for the big sign above the storefront that says "Shared [something incomprehensible], and for posters in the window for Hereville and Modest Medusa).
