About this group

Carol’s Club is a lunch club for English-Speakers who meet monthly on the last Friday of the month to enjoy lunch and hear an informal talk on a Tico topic.

There are no dues or required membership. Carol’s Club is open to all who are interested in meeting other English-Speakers, having a meal together, exchanging information and friendship, and sharing this great adventure we have all embarked upon. All meetings are free.

Carol Vaughn is a four-year resident of Quebradas, Perez Zeledon. She writes for ARCR’s El Residente about the Southern Zone, and is a Guest Reporter for The Costa Rica Star. She is the Warden of the U.S. Embassy for Perez Zeledon. Carol inherited her love for Latin America from her father who was a U.S. Diplomat in Panama, Bolivia, and Colombia. She is a retired tap dancer from Washington, D.C.
