Formed in 1981, the J&P Group seeks to find ways to answer the Biblical call to peace and the social justice teachings of the Church.
We are a friendly group, meeting monthly to reflect on both the spiritual basis of our call to commitment to Justice and Peace, as well as on the issues of concern of the day.
Our activities are planned to address these concerns – including liturgical events, talks, fund-raising, campaigning, publicity events, and work to:

The Cambridge Justice and Peace Group invites you to a reflection during Advent on Pope Francis’s recent encyclical Fratelli Tutti (http://www.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/encyclicals/documents/papa-francesco_20201003_enciclica-fratelli-tutti.html).
There will be four one-hour sessions each Monday, beginning on 23 November, 7.30 to 8.30,
Session 1 (23 Nov): Solidarity (paras. 114-127)
Session 2 (30 Nov): A heart open to the world: (paras. 146-153)
Session 3 (7 Dec): A Better kind of politics (paras. 176-192)
Session 4 (14 Dec): War and Peace (paras. 246-262)

Those joining may find it useful to read Chapter 2 of the Encyclical (a reflection on the parable of the Good Samaritan) beforehand.
