Batiq is a social entrepreneurship company that aims to revolutionize education and create more purposeful uses for the Internet and technology.

Batiq’s first project is building a Global Mentoring Community that will bring together students around the world in powerful new ways. By creating meaningful and substantive opportunities for interaction, we aspire to give our students the insights, experiences, and communication skills they need to be successful in an increasingly global future.

Batiq’s Global Mentoring Community links top Students from East Asia with Mentors from top universities in the U.S. and the U.K. Using Batiq’s interactive curriculum and web tools, Mentors develop meaningful relationships with younger Students by serving as tutor, role model, adviser, and friend. This truly unique learning and social experience is driven by original ideas about global exchange, relevant motivations, web technology, and practical education.

The Mentor experience is unlike any other campus job. College students no longer have to make a choice between changing the world and receiving personal rewards—now they can do both.
