Cost: Cost is £15 for students, unless stated otherwise in your invitation. If you haven’t already replied, please do, to Ankeet Jethwa stating any special dietry requirements and whether you would like the cost to be put on your battles or pidge a cheque to Ankeet made payable to "Balliol College Medical Society" by 14th October.

followed by the Lindsay Bar!

The first seminar will be given by Professor Peter McNaughton. Head of the department of Pharmacology at the University of Cambridge.
The title of his seminar is “Pain: What causes it, and why do we need it?”.

Then followed by our guest of honour, Professor Griffith Edwards. Founder of the National Addiction Centre (NAC) and the Addiction Research Unit (ARU) and is the commissioning editor of the journal Addiction.
The tile of his seminar is: “Drug addiction – Reductionism won’t do?”
