Introduction to bat detecting

Wednesday, 4th May 2016 at 7:30pm - 10pm

Location: Countryside Centre, Spetchley Road, Worcester WR5 2NP

This event is in the past.

Learning how to use a basic bat detector gives you an opportunity not only to help identify what bat species are about, but what they are doing.  Following an indoor talk on the principals of how your bat detector works you will be partnered up with an experienced member of the group and venture into the adjacent woodland and park to listen out for bats and practice your new found skills.  No experience necessary!  Bat detectors are provided but if you have your own, bring it along.
