Mel would like to thank Lynn Manning and the entire creative staff for this great opportunity to play OG Shortdog. This is Mel’s second, and hopefully not last, show with the Watts Village Theater Company. Mel played four characters in WVTC’s Riot/Rebellion, and he claims it was the most emotionally play of his career. Other theatre credits include, but are not limited to: Professor Lewis Fuller in A Delightful Quarantine, Long Beach City College, directed by Tony Carriero; D'Amico in Jesus Hopped the A Train, Lyric Theater, directed by Ashley Teaque. Mel also starred in a National Nike Commercial with super athlete Robinson Cano and the Seattle Mariners. Mel studied at Long Beach City College’s Theatre Academy, and will be appearing at LA Connection Improv Comedy club this summer on July 27th. Mel hopes that this great cast exhibits Lynn’s creative genius, and he thanks you for supporting the show! Mel is appearing through the courtesy of Actors Equity.
