Born and trained in New York City. This will be the second production Isaac has had the privilege of doing with the Watts Theater Company. Interview with Isaac
1.How did you get involved in theater? When did you know you wanted to become an actor?
I knew I wanted to be an actor when I first watched the play "the king And I" with my mother as boy. My mother put me into theater school later that year.
2. What kind of theater inspires you?
Theater that pushes the boundaries and dares to be confrontational to world issues and the human condition attracts me.
3. Who/What has been your biggest inspiration to you as an actor?
One of my biggest inspirations was watching Vanessa Redgrave perform the titles character in Hecuba at Brooklyn Academy of music. When I saw her perform so powerfully at her age it made me sure I could pursue this craft for the rest of my life.
4. What's your role in Hollywood In the Hood? Why did you want to work on this show?
I play the role of Out, one of the gang members in the Pariahs. I wanted to be apart of this show because the site-specific element of the show has a lot in common with modern theater movements and it feels exciting to engage with audiences in new ways.
5. In one word, what is the one thing you are most excited about for the show?
