How To Join

 In order to Join and Stay Up to Date:

  1. Sign up for Groupspaces 
  2. Try to attend each of our 6 meetings during the semester (or attend makeup meetings)
  3. Reach the "New Member" points requirements listed under the "Requirements" tab to reach active status.

  Groupspaces:

  • Be sure to sign up for Groupspaces as soon as possible (preferably before the 3rd meeting)!
  • You must be on Groupspaces in order to register for volunteer, social, and charity events.
  • How to join Groupspaces:

1.      On the right side of the Home page, click the green button that says “Join Group”.

2.      Fill out the form, and you’re good to go!

  • How to Register for events on Groupspaces:

1.      Log in to your Groupspaces account by clicking the “Sign In” button in the top right corner of the page.

2.      Navigate to the “Events” tab

3.      Find the event you’re interested in and simply update your RSVP to “Attending”.

  Attendance:

  • Make sure to sign in at every meeting you attend! Point sheets will be updated within one week of every general meeting.
  • Each meeting will have a guest female doctor discussing her experience as a woman in medicine! 

   Points Sheet:

  • New members wil be added to the points sheet after they sign up for Groupspaces or attend a general meeting.

  • If you are unable to attend general meetings due to scheduling conflicts, please email Abbie at wimsecretary1989@gmail.com to be added to the points sheet.
  • ALL POINTS ARE DUE BY THE LAST MEETING OF THE SEMESTER.
