Hello all,

Great news - our recent application to become affiliated with Cycling Time Trials, the officiating body for time trial cycling in the UK has been successful. You'll find our certificate of affiliation proudly uploaded in the 'Files' section of this Groupspace.

What this means is that as members of Tri Team Wessex, we're entitled to take part in any of the TTs organised by local clubs on the official courses that are dotted around in our area, and those that are further afield if you're away from home too.

As I mentioned previously on the forum but which I'll reiterate here, there are a few outfits who are running regular time trials near by, including Sotonia (some Thursday evenings around the Southampton area) and New Forest CC (Tuesday evenings on courses around the New Forest). They're a great way to get some practice at time trialling in after work - just turn up with your bike (with a rear light on the back), pay your £2 to the organisers and off you go.

The next one I'm planning to head to is the New Forest CC 10 mile TT next Tuesday (31st May) - details are on our 'Events' page, or log onto New Forest CC's website. I hope to see some of you there!
