TIMOTHY EGGERT (Aramis) was last on the Owen stage as Aramis in The Three Musketeers, and earlier as Detective Sgt. Trotter in The Mousetrap (winning him a Best Supporting Actor Montie). Favorite roles amongst numerous credits include Geoffrey in The Lion in Winter, Leo in The Producers, and Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Tim has experience as both a producer/director of audio dramas, college television and short films, but is probably best known for entertaining patrons since 2013 as *the* Doctor for the Texas Renaissance Festival Performance Company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production with a minor in Theater from the University of Houston, and is proud to be married to thrice Montie awarded actor Angelie De Los Santos. TIMOTHY EGGERT’s acting credits include the memorable roles of Aramis in The Three Musketeers, Detective Sgt. Trotter in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap (which won him a Best Supporting Actor Montie in 2016), Jimmy in Almost, Maine, Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol - Broadway, Geoffrey in The Lion in Winter, Murray in The Odd Couple, and Cornelius in The Matchmaker. His first role with the Players Theatre Company was as Franz in the final two performances of The Sound of Music.
Tim is a former producer for The Players Theatre Company Old Time Radio Hour, and was the recipient of the 2014 Greater Conroe Arts Alliance Pursuit of Excellence Award for his work producing the series' inaugural season. During that year, Tim directed the "The War of the Worlds" on the 75th Anniversary of the original broadcast. The episode won the first ever "Best Broadcast" plaque during the 2014 Players Awards. Tim is also privileged to have had a few small parts acting in the series, and to have played maracas opposite his wife as Carmen Miranda in the 2012 New Year’s Eve revue, Thanks for the Memories.
Outside the Owen, Tim is proud to have played Leo in The Producers for Stage Right, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream for Houston Family Arts Center, Dr. Joe Cardin in The Children's Hour for Playhouse 1960, and Andy in Love Letters for two separate independent productions.
The Fantasticks marked Tim’s debut as Assistant Director for a live theatre production. Better known as a filmmaker, he had previously directed three short films for Houston’s 48 Hour Film Project. From 1994 to 1999, he acted as creator, writer, director, and co-star of Science Fiction Theater for the UH’s Student Video Network.
Outside theatre and film, Tim is known in Houston’s sci-fi community as the founder of Space City Time Lords, a Doctor Who fan organization, and has appeared on KUHT to help rally public support for the series. He has had the privilege of interacting with patrons as the Doctor for the Texas Renaissance Festival Performance Company since 2013.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production with a minor in Theater from the University of Houston. Tim is proud to be married to three-time Montie award winning actor Angelie De Los Santos.
