GREASE AUDITION NOTICE

The Players Theatre Company announces auditions for the Jim Jacobs/Warren Casey musical “Grease” to be held on Monday, April 1st, and Tuesday, April 2nd, beginning at 7 pm both evenings. Auditions will be held in the rehearsal room of the Owen Theatre, 225 Metcalf St. in downtown Conroe, Texas (77301).

Those wishing to audition should prepare a song (16 bars to 2 minutes in length), preferably up-tempo in the style of the show (50’s rock-n-roll or doo-wop). An accompanist will be provided, but singers are asked to provide their own sheet music. Auditions will also consist of cold readings from the script and a brief dance audition, so please wear movement friendly clothing. Performance dates are weekends May 17 through June 9.
