It may seem as if it’s never going to be properly warm again, but there’s enough talent at the April Loose Muse events both in London and Winchester, that it’ll heat up your creative blood and make you sorry if you’ve never put pen to paper yourself. Starting with the London event,

Features this month:
Amy Neilson Smith – actress, poet and playwright, Amy’s debut collection Dark Matter is due for release with William C. Harris Publishing.  Her play The Knot was produced at The Orange Tree Theatre Writers Collective, and in 2014 she also developed her debut ‘poetry play’ Shrapnel when Writer in Residence on The Isle of Jersey. She has been nominated for the new Artistic Associate role at The Orange Tree Theatre 2015
Helen Burke has been writing and performing poetry for forty years, as well as writing comedy sketches and producing a Poetry/music radio show in Leeds. She has performed in all over the world, often writing about travelling, and her Anglo Irish heritage.  Her latest collections are Here’s Looking at You, Kid, and also Americana – a book of poems written after travels in the U.S.   
PLUS Special Guest Poet Margaret Eddershaw – sharing new work from her journeys in the Sudan.
