Features this month:
Nancy Charley is a poet whose first poetry collection This Woman was published in 2012 by Conversation Paperpress. She was writer-in-residence at a beach hut in Whitstable in 2011 and will share work from her collection, from her residency and muse about being a woman! She is currently touring her one-woman show, Patricia's Box. She is about to start training as an archivist - a good excuse to dig up lots of interesting info to feed into her work.
Sarah Mussi is an Award-winning writer, whose teen-fiction novels have sold internationally. Her first published novel, ‘The Door of No Return’ was an adventure thriller set in England and Ghana where she lived and worked for 18 years, winning the Children’s Book of the Year Award at the Glen Dimplex New Writer’s Awards in 2007, and short-listed for the Branford Boase Award in 2008. Her second novel ‘The Last of the Warrior Kings’ was short-listed for the Lewisham Book Award, inspired a London Walk, and was optioned for a film. Sarah lives in London, and currently has two new book contracts with Hodder, and a third with Hot Key Books.
Plus plenty of chances to read your own work from the floor.
