The theme of this event is 'Identity' using words, photography, film and music to inspire.
Programme of Events
Monday 1st July
5-30pm Festival Launch at Forest Bookshop (forestbookshop.com)
6-30 - 8pm 60 Second COLEFORD Film Show at Ritmo's Tapas Bar.
1 - Make a 60 second or less film inspired by Coleford .
2 - Bring on a usb stick, between 5-6pm or dropbox it to firstname.lastname@example.org, or
3 - Come 6-30-8pm to the screening.
£60 local Prizes awarded by the Mayor and judging panel plus audience clapometer. All films must be suitable for family viewing, kids.
Tuesday 2nd July
Talking about Pictures at Coleford Baptist Church
7pm Chris Morris introduces local photographers who choose favourite pictures to discus
8-15 DANIEL MEADOWS-photographer and digital film maker SHARES MULTI-MEDIA STORIES
Wednesday 3rd July
2pm onwards Coleford Reading Group invites you to an afternoon of talking about books with authors Alis Hawkins & Derek Smith (who is a member of TheFED - a network of writing and community publishers) and then a chat by widely acclaimed author Andrew Taylor about the challenge of plots.
7pm - Bedtime Cabaret Bookshop Jam/Favourite song forum – What makes a great song?
Open house at the Forest Bookshop bring a Guitar (Uke, Banjo or Mandolin) or a Song in your Heart… Bring lyrics (and chords of a song), original or cover for us to play along with or for you to perform. 8pm Buried Heart is a short film - a new take on Dennis Potters play 'Blue Remembered Hills' made by Rural Media Company with young people from Lakers school. See the film and meet the cast.
