Little Episodes 2012
Little Episodes Publishing has under gone some major changes as we prepare to open our office space in Brighton. We've been busy drawing up improved templates/systems and welcoming a batch of new and talented volunteers. We're also preparing to distribute our back catalogue (now that we have one large enough to do so) through more commercial streams.
This has meant that we have had to alter some of the anthology project timelines as we prepare LE Publishing for the next step in its growth. We would like to apologise to anyone who has submitted work for Queer Episodes and been waiting (and waiting) for a response! We have established a new timeline for this project and are also planning promotion and events around submissions.
A new publishing page will be appearing on the front section of the site in the next few weeks - this will detail LE Publishing's current submission calls, project timelines, back catalogue and general ethos.
In particular, we are keen to publish another single author collection after the success of LE poet, Fran Lock's, debut collection Flatrock. Now on it's second print run and selling just as fast, Flatrock has been an important step in LE Publishing's evolution and highlights our aim to launch new talent. We would love to see submissions for more single author poetry collections/novellas/novels/personal anthologies.
There will be more details about LE Production's plans for 2012 to follow (writer's workshops - two one act plays - an art house documentary and LE Records, to name but a few projects ;)
If you would like to get involved - we're always looking for volunteers/interns to join us on a project by project basis :) firstname.lastname@example.org
And please come and see us on the first Friday of the month at The Albert in Brighton! Next one - November 4th with:
