Club Uniform
It is a condition of membership that players equip themselves with the club uniform.
For Womans Taunton Vale Uniform is; white shirts with blue facings, navy skirts, white socks with red tops. Or Blue shirt with red facings, navy skirt, red socks. All kit available from the SilverFX website at the following address http://www.silverfx.info/acatalog/taunton-hockey-club.html
Rules
Members should make themselves conversant with Club Rules which are displayed on the club notice board, copies of which may be obtained from Team Captains.
Insurance
Members play at their own risk and we advice they take out their own personal accident and kit insurance. The Club will not be held responsible for injuries incurred during participation or spectator-ship.
DISCIPLINE
If players receive 2 yellow card for dissent offenses they incur automatic next game suspension. Each further receipt of a yellow card for dissent will result in further one game suspension.
Selection Criteria
Players will be selected for team based on the taunton vale hockey selection criteria guidelines based on a number of factors including; Merit, regular availability, potential, commitment to training and discipline. Note that players are members of the club not a specific team and are expected to honor the edicts of the selection committee. Members who believe that they have been unfairly treated in selection are advised to register their compliant with their player representatives without delay. For the 2010/11 season the ladies players representative is Liz Truman.
Subscriptions and Match Fees
Membership annual subscriptions fees and registration form are available from your captains and here (membership form 2011-12.pdf). Contact your captain if you would like a standing order form. These fee's helps to cover (amongst numerous other); training and coaches, England hockey affiliation fees, league fees, club facilities etc etc. Match Fees paid weekly after a match, for the 2011/12 season these are;
Playing Member - £8.00
Playing Member (student under 18) - £6.50
Junior Member (under 16) - £4.50
Annual Subscription Fee 2012/13;
Seniors £180 (£140 if paid before 31/10/2011, standing order rate £140)
Students and U18s £100 (£70 if paid by 31/10/2011)
Under 16 £90 (£60 if paid by 31/10/2011)
Social Membership £20
Life Membership £650
