Welcome to the meeting place for TAASC Volunteers! TAASC, The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition, is an affiliate of Disabled Sports USA located in central Ohio, but serving people with disabilities across the state and in nearby states.
If you would like to volunteer for TAASC, just complete the online profile/volunteer application by clicking on Edit Membership. Be sure to add yourself to sports or events groups - that's how you will receive information on those volunteer opportunities to help you have a great volunteer experience!
TAASC has the opportunity to train volunteers to lead Bocce Ball - lawn bowling. If you would be interested in receiving this training please contact joan9485@wowway.com Trained volunteers would be asked to coordinate the activity several times a year. This would allow TAASC to offer a new sport. Bocce Ball is a US Paralympics sport.
TAASC is looking for volunteers for many non-event activities. Here are a few, but if you have other ideas or are looking for a way to get more involved, please contact us.
Thank you to all of TAASC's Volunteers. You bring joy and adventure to so many people!!
* Assistant maintenance coordinator to organize group work days and perform routine or small maintenance jobs at the TAASC Adventure Center. * Event and leadership team members - Now is the time to step up and help to plan, organize and implement activities and events. If you have been thinking that TAASC could do more or do things better, you're right!! With your help! * Exhibit and display coordinator - TAASC has 20 - 30 exhibits and presentations each year. This is a great job for a new volunteer. Just connect with volunteers who have said they would be willing to man exhibits and line them up!
