The Junior section of the club was formed in 1979 with 12 members and 2 volunteer helpers and today it is thriving and welcomes youngsters with varying levels of ability and from every background. The Junior section has grown to a membership of circa 250 with a team of 42 volunteers supporting it (and is still growing).
The club prides itself on promoting a supportive, family environment where young people feel welcomed and are encouraged to enjoy athletics. The club will help athletes improve their skills to meet their potential, irrespective of their ability level and will expect them to compete for the club if selected, or as individuals in the different competitions the club is involved in.

Well done to the 6 SAC athletes racing for Warwickshire Schools at Stoke on Saturday in the Inter Counties cross country. The Year 7 girls led the way with Georgina Mitchell 6th, Rebecca Winn 11th and Eugenia Bessey 14th.
Fergus Allison was 10th in the Junior Boys.
Caroline Furey & Sophie Dobedoe both did well in the Inter Girls but I've not got the final results yet.
Bad luck to Abigail Flynn, Nye Davis, Sophie Wouters, Rachel Chandler and Harriet Flynn who were all selected but had to miss it through injury or illness.
