Has It Really Been 40 Years?
The Sonoma Chambolle-Musigny Sister City Committee invites you to participate in a blind wine tasting event, in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Judgment of Paris.
This event takes place on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Sonoma Community Center. (Click here for directions.) Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the tasting starts promptly at 5:30 p.m. You’ll experience two rounds of wine tasting (one white and one red). Four of the wines will be from Sonoma Valley and four will be from Chambolle-Musigny or the Burgundy region in France. You’ll be able to take notes and cast your vote for your favorite. After each round, the votes will be tallied and you’ll get to see how your preferences compare with the results of our guest panel of wine industry professionals, who will be tasting the wines right along with you. After round two, light appetizers will be served while the panel and the Chamson committee wrap up this amazing event.
You’ll also receive a printed listing with the name of each featured wine and the contact information should you wish to purchase bottles at a later time.
All proceeds benefit the programs of the Sonoma-Chambolle-Musigny Sister Cities Committee. The suggested donation for this event is $50.00/person until May 10, after which time, the amount will increase to $55.00. Simply click on the “Buy Tickets” link you see on this page to get started.
