Sketchy Doodle started in the spring of 2004 as a group of friends drawing and painting for fun. Since then we've reached out to a much larger community of artists. We welcome people of all skill levels, including beginners and those who might like to mentor other artists.
What We Do
We go out and practice sketching, drawing, or painting in small informal groups. In the process we get to meet other artists, make some new friends, and develop our artistic skills through practice. When and Where
We are located in Phoenix Arizona, USA. Most of our drawing sessions are in the east valley (Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert), but we do sometimes meet in other places. If you have a great idea for a sketch spot, please recommend it. We meet about once a month.
How it Works
To attend our drawing events you need to become a member of this group. Why? Because we want to know a little bit about the people that we're meeting up with. It's safer for everyone, and having member profiles helps us all to make new connections.
