  • Many of you have expressed interest in the upcoming National Novel Writing Month (NanoWrimo). NanoWrimo is a worldwide movement in which people write a 50,000 word novel from scratch between November 1 and November 30.

If you are interested, join the on-campus group of writers who are getting together to participate.  The facilitator is Nathan DeWall, a professor in the Department of Psychology and co-director of A&S Wired, the newish Residential College. For the second year, he is leading a student group for NanoWrimo.  He says,  "Last year was a blast!"

He invites English majors and members of Sigma Tau Delta to take part in the group, which will meet on Sundays at 6:00 pm in Keeneland Hall beginning October 28.  Students can email him if they're interested.
