Wow, bit of a lesson here, but Elham were a more experienced older team.
Sibton batted first. More accurate and faster bowling than the guys had faced before made it very difficult to score, and only one pair didn't get out at all.
On top of that backing up, running between the wickets and judging a run still need a lot of work. Sibton limped to 206.
In reply the Elham lads worked it around easier and hit regular boundaries, hitting the ball harder than Sibton had been used to in previous games.
At the end Elham finished on a large 328, losing only two wickets - a run out from Acey and a bowled by Jemimah.
Still another good lesson for the guys who are definitely growing with each game.
Congratulations to Alexander on his first game for the team, and well done to all the others who played and tried hard.
