I invited everyone that I know on Facebook that is a part of our group to visit our San Diego Pet Pros PUBLIC Facebook page and I created a PRIVATE group page where we can gather and chat about things.

Hi Gang! I am out busy pounding the pavement and am putting together great gift baskets for events and making donations to quite a few non-profit groups. I am happy to include your business in the donations and it adds a lot of value (especially for all the silent auctions) to have our services put together into one basket, along with some Honest Kitchen supplies, flower essences from Blackwing Farms, and other nutritional supplements. If you would like to be included in this please print some nice gift certificates on card stock and bring them to our next meeting.
Some tips for making a gift certificates...I never know when I'm going to be donating so a expiration date (if any) needs to be quite a ways off. Be sure to state the value of your certificate. (i.e. $50 value). You can leave a place for me to fill in which group or event that I'm donating to, that way you know where the customer is coming from. I can also date the certificate for you so you can be aware of when it was donated (For my certs. I prefer this over an expiration). Include a business card and a brochure if possible. AND PLEASE DON'T SEND ME A PDF FILE...I have all of my stuff printed professionally and I end up paying to have your certs. printed. I want them to look nice and give our group that 'professional look'.

The meeting agenda is to introduce the new structure for the group and describe it in detail. We are committed to making this group successful and work for all the members, but we need your participation to insure we all get our needs met.
We will be handing out membership information sheets (defines what the group is about and what you get from it). membership applications, collecting dues ($40 per year) and discussing and defining booth etiquette guidelines.
We will discuss the upcoming events and poll members as to which ones they want to participate in.
I know it's difficult to find a time and place that works for everyone, please do your best to make this date, time and location work for you. If you cannot, please let us know and we will arrange to meet with you separately.
we've changed the name to San Diego Pet Professionals. the other group disolved so we may have some new members from that group. please watch your email inbox over the next couple of weeks for new info regarding our group.
