SVC2UK Masterclass: CTRL-ALT-Run: The Business of Apps

Friday, 18th November 2011 at 12:30pm - 4:30pm

Location: Humanities Research Institute, The University of Sheffield, 34 Gell Street, Sheffield S3 7QY

This event is in the past.

Following on from the SVC2UK prototyping weekend (Appathon at SHU, 8-9 Oct 2011), this masterclass takes student entrepreneurs and developers to the next stage of taking an idea and turning it into a commercial proposition.

We will look at app development from the following angles:

  • Mobile and the opportunities it offers for apps
  • Platforms and business models
  • Customers and markets
  • Making money from your app

Space is limited, so we are having to restrict Business tickets to one per organisation.
