Update 4: We're happy to announce we'll have devs from Apple, Facebook, Google & Nokia to help the teams out! - also there'll be additional prizes for the best apps on Sunday!
Please also see the Agenda and info on the mini-unconference.
In October, hundreds of students and developers across the country will take part in 'Appathons' as part of the SVc2UK events. Cambridge is no exception.
This weekend event will bring together students, developers and recently released government data sets in order to build applications on well-known consumer facing platforms. We'll have support available from the platform providers (Facebook, Apple, Google and Nokia) and also the government data guys.
We hope that over the 30+ hour event, people will be able to build high-impact apps that unlock the power of public data. There are exclusive prizes available including trips to Silicon Valley!
As you can imagine, numbers are limited so please register now to save your place!
The Cambridge Appathon is being organised by Cambridge University Entrepreneurs so do get in touch if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
Update 1 (15 Sept): First batch of places opened for registration!
Update 2 (22 Sept): All places are now open!
Update 3 (27 Sept): Although we're hope to have many student devs, non-student devs are also welcome!
