Sorry, folks. I am just unable to get anything together for this month. I promise, I swear, I guarantee, we'll have a meetup in September. I am thinking we'll do it after the joint event of Microsoft and Nokia. That way we'll have some exciting (I hope) news to discuss.

The support from across the Twitterverse and all of the WP7-centric fan sites out there has been amazing. This upcoming workshop has gathered more support and more confirmed attendees than I ever imagined. Thank you. The following sites are to be recognized and commended for their strong support of the St. Louis WP7 Meetup and its events:
All of the above fan sites are fantastic and I hope you'll take time to visit each and every one of them. I also appreciate the countless retweets on Twitter, there's so many I can't possibly begin to list them all. Thank you all very much for making the upcoming June 22 Dev Workshop a blowout success! If you haven't already done so, sign up for it here: http://groupspaces.com/STLWindowsPhoneMeetup/item/300937
Thanks to each and every one of you who attended the meetup yesterday. It was very nice to hand out Nokia shirts and energy drinks to you. I hope your shirts fit well and that the energy drink tastes good. I still haven't tried my drink! Heh.
I completely forgot to get a picture! Oh well. We had two new faces this time, which is fantastic. I hope we can add at least two new faces at each meetup. It seems that the majority of attendees are pretty serious developers. That's great, because I should have a real treat for you for the June meetup. It will be development-focused. Keep your eyes here and I will be discussing the future meetup and its contents very soon.
I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the apps made by some of our attendees. This is not a comprehensive, complete list.

Thanks to all eight of you who took time out of your Saturday to meet me and your fellow WP7 enthusiasts. It was real nice to meet all of you and see such a variety of Windows phones. I did a little writeup of this meetup over at the WP Central forums here: http://forums.wpcentral.com/windows-phone-meet-ups/190284.htm
I'm getting things ready for a May meetup. I hope to do these meetups once a month, though in the vacation-filled summer days of June/July/August we may meet every other month depending on interest.
Yes, the time has finally come. The inaugural St. Louis Windows Phone Meetup is confirmed for Saturday, April 14 from 12 noon to 4 PM at Triumph Grill. If you have even the smallest interest in WP7, you are invited. I have been asked if it's ok to come if you do not own a WP7 device. Of course! There's no requirements to attend other than having an interest in WP7. This meetup will be purely social. A meet & greet, if you will. I don't have any developers scheduled to speak or instruct you on any technologies this time. I am confident we'll have development-oriented meetups in the future, though. So come on out, get some lunch, some drinks, and let's talk WP7.
Thanks for stopping by. This group is designed to accomodate WP7 newbies, intermediates, grizzled veterans, enthusiasts of all kinds, and of course, the people who make it all happen: developers.
Everyone is welcome to attend, whether or not you actually have a WP7 phone. If you have an interest in WP7, come to a meetup. I am not a developer and have no interest in development, but all developers are welcome to come and swap their coding tricks and tips.
I expect the first STL WP7 Meetup to happen in the first half of April. So sign up and become a member here and I'll keep you informed. As always, follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/STLWPMeetup
I look forward to seeing you soon. In the mean time why not head on over to Windows Phone Central Forums and communicate with other WP7 enthusiasts: http://www.wpcentral.com/
