About Us

The Stanford Association for Multi-disciplinary Medicine and Science (SAMMS) is a program created by graduate students and hosted by the Molecular Therapeutics program that is designed to facilitate interdisciplinary discussion and collaboration in an informal environment centered on graduate students, post-docs, and clinical interns.

SAMMS offers the following opportunities:

- Discussion-centered panels on broad topics applicable to a diverse audience. Panel speakers represent a variety of disciplines, and present a point of view, research focus, or solution to a problem from their discipline’s standpoint

- A reagent sharing network

- Social networking events

- Discussion-based seminars led by members of SAMMS providing insight into their discipline for a more general scientific audience

If you would like to get involved with SAMMS be contacted by SAMMS about our future events, you can join our general mailing list at the following URL: https://mailman.stanford.edu/mailman/listinfo/samms_members
