All BMW dealers are holding their Spring Open House next Saturday, 25 March, on dictate of BMW NA. Morton's is closest dealer to area, a number of members are planning to attend. Weather looks promising.
Aerostich is doing another pop-up event in Woodbridge, VA; according to website (http://www.aerostich.com/DC17) the dates are 23-26 March 2017. Address is 4069 Shoppers Best Way, Woodbridge VA 22192 (Smoketown Station Shopping Center).
Steve Johnson mentioned that in addition to his professional tire-changing machine, he now has the kit needed to balance wheels from BMWs with single-sided swing arms.
Reservation at Sherando cancelled. We got $270 back from the park. We have until two weeks prior to the event to cancel the remaining campsite (G4, across from where the big tent used to be put up) and get money back, but the longer we wait, the less is refunded.
Current balance is about $3,300, "we are in good condition." Discussion of "in high cotton" ensued, with Yankees achieving enlightenment as to this distinctly Southern expression.
Past president Dave Jennings says hello, reports that he is no longer riding. He is selling some gear, specifically: Gerbings electric jacket size XL, with Heat-troller and BMW plug Mens Protech leather jacket, size XL, with removable quilted liner Contact Dave directly (804.334.9823) to buy or for more info.
Request made (by Richard Hinman?) to put club's important files (letter of incorporation, tax returns, etc.) on the website in a private folder. Suggestion made to use Google Drive or some other cloud service, with access restricted to club officers. Richard will track these files down.
