The Reading University African and Caribbean Society is putting together the Black History Dialogue in commemoration of the Black History Month Celebration themed:

“Yes We Can: Voice of A Daring Generation”

The Black history month gives an opportunity for usto celebrate black people who have been of huge impact to the world around them.

We will also honour notable black achievers worthy of emulation that have strived in their various fields of endeavours.

The Disguished Africans to be celebrated are:

• Her Excellency Dame Patience Jonathan, First Lady of Nigeria and the Grand Matron of the Women for Change Initiative

•Dr. Abdulmumin Jibrin, Chairman/CEO Green Forest Group Ltd

•Mr. Alistair Soyode, CEO Ben TV UK

This is going to also be a great networking opportunity for the African/Caribbean students in the University and also expand to the world, the visibility of Reading University’s strong and vibrant community of exceptional African and Caribbean Young people.

This important occasion will help inspire the next generation of young people- men and women, black and white- to write their own chapter of history. That is something worth celebrating.
