We are students from the University of Florida chapter of the RCP Movement committed to preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS. RCP stands for Respect, Check and Protect Yourself Movement. We aim to increase awareness of this epidemic through innovative programming that addresses the needs of the youth and at-risk communities. We incorporate a holistic approach to addressing the social risk factors associated with HIV/AIDS and other health related issues. We encourage people to live healthy lifestyles by RESPECTING themselves, CHECKING and knowing their HIV status, and PROTECTING themselves from viral transmission. Our goals include educating, empowering, and eliminating the ignorance and stigma that exist towards this disease.
