Come celebrate the start of International Dark Sky Week for a night of astrophotography hosted by the 2013 Astronomy Photographer of the Year, Mark Gee.
Bring your DSLR Camera and tripod, or just come down to enjoy a night under the stars. 10 minutes of basic instruction and a briefing will be held at the start of the night, before we head down to the beach at the start of the Red Rocks Nature Reserve to observe and photograph the night sky. This event is all about having a go and enjoying the night sky rather than a night with full instruction.
If the weather isn't favourable on the night of the 11th April, the event will be held on another night between the 12th and 16th April - stay tuned to this page for updates.
This is a free event to be held at the Red Rocks Nature Reserve, Te Kopahau Reserve in Wellington, New Zealand.
