The ancient Celtic ceremony and celebration of the Spring Equinox
The program begins in our theatre with a special presentation on the ancient traditions and star-lore of the spring equinox. This will be followed by the Wiccan & Druidic ceremony of the spring equinox – Ostara, within the circle of stones. Weather permitting we will view the sun set over the equinox heel-stone – the post of Hine-nui-tepo.
A feast was always part of this ancient ceremony so bring a plate and a bottle to share.
