At Six: How to discover a planet from your sofa, 5 October, Wellington
Astronomers have discovered that planets are common, but many are stranger than we could possibly have imagined. In this talk, Professor Chris Lintott will explore new discoveries, ask whether aliens are out there somewhere, and explain how you can help in the search.
Chris Lintott is Professor of Astrophysics and Citizen Science at the University of Oxford, UK, a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, and presenter of the BBC series The Sky at Night.
