David Gatherer will be returning for another training clinic over XC jumps at Edderston Farm XC course near Peebles.
The XC course has three heights at most fences ranging from approx 40cm to 1m.

Groups usually four riders depending on what times riders request. Each group lasting approx 80 mins.
Times available 3pm, 4.30pm, 6pm & 7.30pm
Please note that there will only be a first aider present and that there is no paramedic cover at this training event.

Both horse and rider must be correctly dressed for XC riding. Riders must wear current BRC standard hat with no fixed peak and body protector BETA level 3 (purple label with year 2000 or 2009) for this XC training - scroll down for further information

Parking at Venue – NO HGVs
Please note that the access to the venue parking is not suitable for particularly long or HGV horseboxes due to a turn within the courtyard. Normal non-HGV horseboxes and trailers should not have any problem. If you only have HGV transport or think you may have issues, please contact Helen MacNeil for advice before booking.
There is room for one, maybe two HGV horseboxes to park on Edderston Road but parking there, is at your own risk and you would be about half a mile away from the venue.

‘Protective Headwear’ must be worn at all times by anyone riding. Harnesses must be correctly adjusted and fastened. ‘Protective Headwear’ constitutes a hat which meets one of the following standards. Hard hats must carry the quality assurance stamp of Kitemark or SEI.
British PAS 015:1998 or 2011, BSEN1384:1997* or 2012*
American All SEI, ASTM F1163:2004a, 04a or SNELL E2001
Australian & New Zealand All SAI AS/NZS 3838 2006
*Hard hats to specification PAS015 and ASTM F1163 are considered to offer greater protection than EN1384 and BSEN1384 and from 1 January 2016, hats which only are EN1384 and BSEN1384 will not meet current standards under BRC rules.
BODY PROTECTOR: A BETA Level 3 (purple label) which has a 2000 or 2009 label must be worn. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. The up to date BETA list of body protectors can be obtained from www.beta-uk.org. ;
