The Area through Jennifer Rentoul and Lorna McEllhaney has organised some really good training for show jumping and cross country with experienced and qualified coaches like David Gatherer, Aileen Craig, Trish Harvey and David Harland. Training is at various sites around the area and available at different levels so do please have a look at the Area 1 website and make use of what is on offer! You may have seen that BHS through BRC have organised training for Grass Roots riders, aiming at those who never really had a go at cross country riding (see BRC website). So far this has been offered only at various English venues, but if there is a demand by clubs here, Area 1 has till September to run one of these. Please let us know if you are interested in this!
Well done to all team members competing at Rockrose yesterday. No team placing this time but well done to all with a special mention to Annmarie and Sandra who placed 2nd and 3rd in elementry 44 and novice 30!!
