Good afternoon everyone!
Please read below and view the attachment for the Social tomorrow.
This is a poem written by your fellow EClub member Carter Jarrett!
Twas the night before finals, and all through the college,
The students were praying for last minute knowledge.
Most were quite sleepy, but none touched their beds,
While visions of essays danced in their heads.
Out in the taverns, a few were still drinking,
And hoping that liquor would loosen up their thinking.
In my own apartment, I had been pacing,
And dreaded exams I soon would be facing.
My roommate was speechless, his nose in his books,
And my comments to him drew unfriendly looks.
I drained all the coffee, and brewed a new pot,
No longer caring that my nerves were shot.
I stared at my notes, but my thoughts were muddy,
My eyes went a blur, I just couldn’t study.
"Some pizza might help," I said with a shiver,
But each place I called refused to deliver.
I’d nearly concluded that life was too cruel,
With futures depending on grades had in school.
When all of a sudden, our door opened wide,
And Patron Saint Palominos ambled inside.
Her spirit was careless, her manner was mellow,
She started her speech, while wearing a Sombrero
"What kind of student would make such a fuss,
To toss back at teachers what they tossed at us?"
"On Cliff Notes! On Crib Notes! On last year’s exams!
On taco shells, on jingle bells, and last minute crams!"
Her message delivered, she vanished from sight,
with one last message "Come to Palominos for food and insight.
"Your teachers have pegged you, so just do your best.
Happy finals to all, and to all, a good test!"
Thanks for a great semester, and only more blessings to come from all of us working together! Join us tomorrow at 6PM at Palimino's on Perkins for our Christmas Social!
See the flier for additional details and contact information.
Have an amazing day and hope to see all of you tomorrow!
Sincerely,
Chris McNeil

E-Club members and friends,
The Spears School has finally released the application for Outstanding Spears Student Organization. The nomination form is attached. We would be honored if you would consider nominating E-Club for this award. Please note that to count, the completed form must be submitted to the dean’s office on the second floor of the Spear’s School by March 2nd. Thank you for your support this year. So far it has been an amazing year, and it isn’t over yet! We still have some amazing speakers, competitions, a Battle of the Bands event on the Library Lawn, and the first annual OCEFE Conference. There are still plenty of places to get involved! This has been a landmark year for the E-Club. We have built lasting partnerships within the entrepreneurial community of Stillwater, and created a roadmap for the future success of the Entrepreneurship Club. I look forward to see how next year’s leadership team will continue to improve on our progress.
Because we had such a full calendar of events this year, I thought it might be helpful to provide a summary of the things we have done as an organization this year, and other information to help you complete the nomination form. We appreciate all the support and effort our members and supporters have given along the way. We are nothing without you!
Kind Regards,
